I saw this pic from Justin Taylor’s site and thought it was pretty interesting. But even more interesting is the story behind it. You can click here to find out more.

Yet another good read for the Bibliophiles, if we ever get started again (prod, prod) …
I know I know!!! For some reason I got stuck with that book on JE and have read so many other books since. Why don’t we just read a new book. I think since I went to that conference, I feel like I’m reading stuff I heard already.
What do you think?
… Edwards put aside … to quote the Yankee philospher/theologian Yogi Berra : “Who’d a thunk it?” However, it may be time to select another book for group reading …
Seriously…also I think Yogi Berra has far better things to say than many of the ECM people out there. Some Yogisms:
“This is like deja vu all over again.”
“You can observe a lot just by watching.”
“He must have made that before he died.” — Referring to a Steve McQueen movie.
“I want to thank you for making this day necessary.” — On Yogi Berra Appreciation Day in St. Louis in 1947.
“If you can’t imitate him, don’t copy him.”
“You better cut the pizza in four pieces because I’m not hungry enough to eat six.”
“Baseball is 90% mental — the other half is physical.”
“It was impossible to get a conversation going; everybody was talking too much.”
“Slump? I ain’t in no slump. I just ain’t hitting.”
