The first thought that comes to mind is, “How do some believe that God is not wrathful against sinners and sin when the Bible uses a word like ‘enemies’?”
Second, if there is no wrath, then what need is there for reconciliation. I know that when I wrong someone or am wronged, if there is no reconciliation, there is no peace. And then, I know that without peace, there cannot be true love.
Third, wow Lord, how can you love me in this way. Unfathomable and yet, so sweet.
Sam, yeah, enemies reconciled who desired to remain in open rebellion to the Reconciler. The question is not why would God save some but why He would save any!
Enemies…reconciled…
