  2. Yes, it is. Don’t you just love hiking. Time to form a Wellspring Hikers Club.

  3. charlie and i have conferred, and we have a question
what’s the ISO on the 2nd pic (solo hawk)? there seems to be grain on that one, but not on the others
or is this because it was enlarged and so details are more noticeable
as for the wellspring hikers club………… that already exists
your church office mate there is the founder and club president
membership criteria is pretty tough, I’m lucky to have made the cut

(the polarizer makes for nice sky colors btw.)

  5. Polarizers do make a difference. The solo hawk is a crop, hence the noise. And I asked the president, she says there is a hike coming up soon.

  6. It’s weird to see the very scenes that we saw on our hike last Saturday…in particular, we saw many eagles and hawks that day.

Sam and/or Shua are welcome to join us on our next hike (which may be in Point Reyes)…not sure if we can do one this fall, as it’s getting pretty booked up. But with respect to hiking, it is definitely a different “beast” from running.

  7. Pt Reyes is a wonderful place to hike. Many photo ops out there.
