
Everyone wants to be happy, very happy. The problem is that people search for happiness and never truly find it or find it momentarily because we are so easily tricked into believing happiness comes in things or people. Dane Ortland has a great post from the JE site on happiness. Let me quote Dane’s quote of JE:
The great enquiry of the world in general in all ages of it, is after happiness. It was a great enquiry among the wise men of the world wherein men’s happiness consists and a thing that they were exceedingly at a loss, though it be a matter that so universally and so highly concerns mankind. Yet there is scarce anything that the world is more deceived about. . . .
Ah, if we and the world only knew how little we know and seek of true happiness…
