If you want to see our legal system out of whack, read this story. A judge (who made him judge any way?) is suing Korean immigrants who own a dry cleaning business for losing his pants. Even though they offered him over $10,000 for its recovery, he turned down down. It’s absolutely absurd.
I just feel so bad for the family. Since I’m Korean, I know many who own dry cleaners. They work so hard and diligently often just to just get by.
Foxnews.com has the latest on this lawsuit. The judge ruled in favor of the dry cleaners, the Chungs. The judge also order the Chungs’ court cost be paid by Pearson. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,286575,00.html
I’m curious how much they can counter sue the judge for when his case is thrown out. Also curious if he’ll lose his license.
