Well, we came back yesterday afternoon. All considering, I have faced little jet lag thus far (we’ll see how it goes for the rest of the week). Our trip was awesome. Thanks to everyone who lifted up a prayer for me and our team. Here are some of God’s grace towards me in listening to you prayers:

1. I was very healthy.
2. We had great team dynamics.
3. God showed us more of Himself.

What’s her story?

She lives in a village called Welfadeen. It’s a place that is literally in the middle of no where, cut off from food, water, and everything else. The people there are living in abject poverty and disease. Her she had lost most of her children from disease. She can’t stand because of her decrepit body and no one takes care of her. I asked her permission to take this picture and she gave it. Her pose is just what she was feeling at the time, despair. And she is one of many who are in the same situation.
