A good read to remind the Christian who we need to lean on. This book is what we used in our Moz 09 STM trip as our devotional guide. It makes excellent points that our relationship with God is dependent on the rightousness of Christ and not on our own. The rightousness of Christ should be one bookend in our faith and the other on the power of the Holy Spirit.
As I read this book, I found that often I do think that my "good works" will win favor with God, but this book reminded me that "my works" are never good enough. God loves me because of what Christ did on the cross for my sins and it His works that makes me acceptable before Him. I recommdend reading this book.
