The WellMom's ministry is pleased to announce a very exciting project and we're looking for your input!
What is the project?
In previous years the women of Wellspring have successfully put together cookbooks that were compilations of your favorite recipes. Our hope is that we could maintain the success of the cookbook concept but, this time, use them to raise funds to support a community in need. The proceeds from the sale of this cookbook will benefit the Young Mum's Ministry in South Africa that is administered by Hands at Work in Africa.
What is the Young Mum's Ministry?
This program ministers to the needs of vulnerable young women in the African communities by bringing healing and development to them using a biblically-based approach through leadership training, support groups, workshops and home visits.
How can you help?
Contribute one or more of your most favorite recipes! Here are the guidelines for submitting a recipe or recipes:
1) The theme of the recipe is "fast and easy meals" - which means, no appetizers or desserts, just meals (main dishes). Also, if you have a recipe for a kid-friendly meal, please include that, too.
2) We encourage you to provide a home made recipe - one that is truly your own. If you do pull a recipe from a source, please "tweak" or alter the recipe.
3) Attached is a MS Word template on which we ask that you submit your recipe. Upon completion, please forward the recipe file to: wellmoms@gmail.com.
4) As a point of emphasis, we encourage you to submit more than one recipe.
Please submit your template (or templates) by Friday, December 5th.
Thank you in advance for supporting the WellMom's Ministry, the Young Mum's Ministry, and our continuing desire to live out the Gospel of Grace.

This class will be applicable whether you are a new believer or whether you have been walking with the Lord for a long time.
1. Though the book we will be using is Bible Doctrine, if you have Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology which is a more
comprehensive version of Bible Doctrine, feel free to bring that to the class.
2. The class will be for 1.5 to 2 hours. If you need to leave before the 2 hours, feel free.
3. You don't have to come to every class. There will be no attendance taking. This is a drop-in class, so you can come in and out as you please.
4. We hope this time will be engaging, fun, thoughtful, laid back, and stress-free.
If you are interested in taking the class, please email Sam at samshin (a)(t) wellspringsg. org.

For the past four years, Wellspring has been on a journey with the Lord and Sovereign Grace Ministries to explore the possiblity of being a Sovereign Grace church in the Bay Area. It has been a joy thus far to see how God has been so gracious to us through this process of exploring, learning, and growing together.
We had the pleasure of having Steve Shank, who serves on the Leadership Team of SGM and leads the churches in the Western Region, Mark Lauterbach, pastor of Grace Church, a Sovereign Grace church in San Diego, and Rich Richardson, pastor of Sov Grace Church at Gilbert, AZ for a Panel Discussion on various questions dealing with Sovereign Grace Ministries.
If you have any further questions concerning Sovereign Grace after having listened to all of the mp3s, please post them on the Forum or email Sam.
For the MP3s of the Panel Discussion:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
QUESTIONS FOR THE PANEL DISCUSSION
The Gospel
1. Why is the Gospel so foundational to the life, vision, and mission of Sovereign Grace (SG)?
Ecclesiology and Polity
1. What is the relationship/structure with a SG congregation and SG’s overall leadership?
2. Does final governmental authority rest in the national SG or with each congregation?
3. How many elders make a plurality of eldership as Dave Harvey’s Polity book discusses?
4. Does SG allow for non-vocational elders? How are elders selected in an SG church?
5. What would happen in cases where the SG apostolic team determined that a church pastor needed to be disciplined?
6. How would a SG church that has a pastoral job vacancy (senior pastor or associate) fill that vacancy?
The Supernatural Gifts
1. What is the gift of prophecy according to SG? How does this view reconcile with the sufficiency of Scripture?
2. What would a SG church look like that practically and discernibly exercised the supernatural gifts in accordance with Scripture?
3. What would distinguish Sovereign Grace’s utilization of the gifts from the myriad of fringe-charismatic elements that remain in Evangelicalism today?
4. What does SG mean by the gift of “apostleship”?
5. How often does SG relate/partner with those who do not necessarily hold to a continuationist position? Can SG work together with cessationists? Why or why not?
Congregational Care
1. In what ways do you think being a part of SG would benefit a local church?
2. How will Sam grow in his ministry, character, and vision as being a part of Sovereign Grace?
Vision and Mission
1. Since SG is a rapidly growing movement, what challenges have you had to face thus far and how have you been able to overcome them?
2. We currently go to different places around the world to bring the Gospel to the lost and to the poor (Cambodia and Sub-Saharan Africa). How can our mission complement what SG is doing world-wide?
3. In what ways does SG see itself in the Bay Area in the future?
4. How can Wellspring serve the vision and future mission of SG?
